AKC-Palestine Sub-Project
AKC Palestine aspires to expand the Avicenna Project in Palestine by including other academic institutions while maintaining its leading role. A proposal for the development of a special Avicenna subproject for Palestine was forwarded following consultations with Peace Program, UNESCO and AKC Palestine.
The implementation of this sub project should yield the following benefits:
- Alleviate shortage in the human resources at the Palestinian universities.
- Updating and managing curricula and materials, especially in technology (ICT) related fields, which is costly due to their constantly changing nature.
- Enrich the working environment for local faculty members, creating more of an incentive to stay within the teaching profession.
